New Business:
1. Ross Army is looking for boat partner/partners for 2011. Jim Famulari had agreed to have him as a non boater for a couple tournaments, but he is looking for volunteers for the other 3-4. Steve K said he would agree to host a couple tournaments and Sal possible for a couple tournaments. I will have Ross reach out to them to discuss.
2. Currently we have 19 Boaters, but we will not know final roster until next meeting in February to see if any openings are available for new members, boaters or non-boaters.
3. Chris Martin has been approached by a young man looking to join our club. He is only 17 years old. We discussed issues with liability and whether or not we, as a club, would like to allow junior members. Currently our by-laws do not allow anyone under 18 years of age. Chris will talk to his parents and also have him in his boat for several tournaments if parents are acceptable with him joining. Club voted on whether or not to allow 17 year old to join as a youth member and all present were in favor and voted accordingly. Mike Tetreault will find out from Federation if any issue with having a youth member and what dues, if any, he would be responsible for. Mike will also need to find out about any official liability waiver form the Federation has that needs to get signed or submitted. This would be case to case based on sponsorship and would not change current by-laws. Chris Martin has announced his acceptance to be his sponsor in the club pending information gathered.
